Northshore Hawaii – The dream

February 05, 2012 3 Comments

All around the world surfers, photographers, tourists, kamikaze’s and hell men travel to see this natural phenomenon come to fruition. The best time of year to visit these waves are in-between December to March.

The sand, the girls, the waves and the surfers who dare try to tame the beast called Pipe all flock to this wave either to watch it or participate in the raw carnage that it has to offer. See video here!

As I’m lucky enough to travel to this wonderful land I plan on documenting our trip for you all to see. A photo a day is the goal, they will be showcased on my jonwrightphoto.com Facebook page and also here, on my blog.

Hey Becky My only experience with art and our mibsermhep was at a conference a few years ago when we held a live auction. Many of the pieces were bid up beyond market value, so, yes, I would say that our constituents are interested is surf art with a Christian touch!

Ive been surfing for 2 years now alsomt everyday with the exception of deployments and have found that the waves that you paddle into the most determine what you grow accoustomed to and or comfortable with, if you only ride 3-4 and call it a day at 4-8 you will never get used to the larger sets I rode 2-4 for a long time and would cringe at bigger waves until i forced myself to paddle on them, initially ill admit it was spooky droping in and i got rolled up and crushed a few times but now that i have subjected myself to the size i have gotten used to, it i still prefer 3-5 but overhead no longer sends me home.

Our three piece stretched canvas (also called triptych) is a popular option of the interior designers. Using the rule of thirds the canvas is broken into three pieces giving it a fresh look with a difference.
