How To Care For Your Print

Caring For Your Artwork

Print Only Option

If you're opting for a print-only option, your print will be shipped to you in a protective canister. To ensure your print looks its best, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Handle your print with care to avoid any damage. Use both hands and support the back of the print when picking it up.
  • Natural skin oils or other contaminants can easily transfer to the print. So, it's a good idea to wash your hands before touching your precious photograph. If possible, wear clean, white cotton gloves that are lint-free and specially designed for handling art.
  • Please don't rub the surface of the image with your finger or fingernail as it may scratch the print's surface.
  • When framing your print, it's best to use acid-free materials to avoid any potential damage to the print.
  • After framing, keep your print out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperatures to preserve its quality.

Framed Prints

If you're purchasing a framed print, your print will come beautifully framed and ready to hang on your wall. To keep your framed print looking its best, here's what you need to do:

  • Keep your framed print out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperatures.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the glass panels, and avoid using any abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.

Canvas Prints

Keep your canvas print out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperatures.

  • Handle your canvas print with care to avoid any damage.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the surface of the canvas and avoid using any cleaning products that could damage the material.
  • Please never use chemicals to clean your canvas print. Your print has been treated with a UV protective coating that can break down if cleaned with chemicals.
  • Canvas needs to breathe, so don't store prints in airtight containers such as plastic bags or behind glass. Moisture may become trapped inside, causing damage to the image.

Acrylic Wall Art

If you choose to purchase an acrylic print, your image will be printed onto a high-quality photographic paper and face-mounted to an acrylic sheet. To keep your acrylic print looking its best, please note the following:

  • Handle your acrylic print with care to avoid any damage. Use both hands and support the back of the print when picking it up.
  • Clean the surface of the acrylic with a microfiber cloth or a soft, non-abrasive cloth to avoid scratching the material.
  • Do not use cleaning products that contain ammonia or alcohol to clean your acrylic print as this may cause damage.
  • Acrylic prints should be displayed indoors away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If you must display your print in a sunny area, consider using UV filtering film on the windows or using curtains or blinds to block the sun.
