Brisbane Night Time Aerial
Finally! A bucket shot I’ve been wanting to capture for a long time has finally come to life. In this series of aerial photographs of Brisbane, I focus on the city nightlife as the city is illuminated in golden hues of city lights. In the world of photography, there are moments that stand out as truly unforgettable experiences. One such moment for our photography business was a heart-pounding adventure in the skies in a doors-off helicopter photoshoot over Brisbane City at dusk. Today, we take you on an exhilarating journey behind the lens to share the unique challenges and rewards of capturing breathtaking images from high above the ground. The Thrill of Flying Doors-Off There's something magical about soaring high above the world with the wind rushing through your hair and no barriers between you and the stunning landscapes below. For this doors-off helicopter photoshoot, we teamed up with experienced pilots from V2 Helicopters who specialize in providing a safe and exhilarating flying experience for aerial photography. Strapping in securely, we were ready to embark on a photographic adventure like no other. Preparing for the Perfect Shot Before taking off, meticulous planning was crucial. We scouted potential shooting locations, taking into account the time of day, weather conditions, and the unique perspectives each spot offered. We also ensured our camera gear was securely fastened, as shooting from a helicopter adds an extra layer of complexity to the process. Unparalleled Views and Perspectives Despite the challenges, the views were nothing short of awe-inspiring. From towering city skylines to pristine natural wonders, the vantage point from the helicopter allowed us to capture scenes from angles impossible to achieve on the ground. Our lenses framed iconic landmarks and hidden gems alike, revealing the world in an entirely new light. Looking to purchase one of these stunning aerial prints of Brisbane City? Timing a doors off helicopter shoot with perfect weather can often be challenging. On the Gold Coast however, it's a little bit easier compared to some places in the world. Generally speaking we have great weather all year round but from my surfing background I'm often looking at the water conditions, the clouds an direciton of the sun. This brand new aerial collection has been on the list of to do's for a while now. All images have been captured whilst flying in a helicopter over the beautiful Gold Coast. Key vantage points in the series are: The Spit Surfers Paradise Wavebreak Island Broadwater Main Beach Surfers Paradise Cheveron Island Surfers Paradise Macintosh Island Broadbeach Mermaid Beach Miami Beach Burleigh Hill Burleigh Point Tallebudgera Creek Tallebudgera to Surfers Paradise Burleigh to Snapper Rocks Palm Beach Curruming Alley To highlight this collection I've put together my favourite 5 prints Check out the full collection here

It's that time you have all been waiting for, the launch of the Western Australian collection and our Abstract Aerial Collection. We ventured across to the West Coast of Australia on a little adventure to capture new content and new prints for your wall! Yep, you guessed it, lots of colour, lots of abstract aerial prints and most importantly a couple Whale Sharks. It was an epic little 14-day adventure where we crammed a bunch of attractions into a very little time slot. Starting off in Margaret River we captured the beautiful Gum Trees and visited the infamous surf spot "The Box", although the surf was wild and windy I didn't get a chance to head out there to capture new surf shots. From here we went north up to Exmouth to swim with the Whale Sharks at Ningaloo Reef. Swimming with these beautiful creatures was a highlight from the trip and we were lucky enough to bring five new photographs to the Wildlife collection. Shortly after this, we drove 7 hours south towards Monkey Mia and Shark Bay, a World Heritage listed location with an abundance of wildlife and some incredible Seagrass, the largest in the world with 12 different species growing. A huge part of the collection involves the Abstract Aerial Art, a key focus was to capture the unique colours of the sands meeting the beautiful blue ocean. Shark Bay offers an incredible amount of colour and beauty in a very small space which is a photographers dream! On the second day, I flew over towards Useless Loop to create some interesting abstract patterns of the salt ponds, a more muted toned print with neutral colours. I'm hoping these prints bring something different to my collection and offer a more styled aesthetic for those wanting earthy tones and colour palettes. Stay tuned as I start to release some behind the scenes videos of the adventure and start showcasing some of my favourite wall art to date! In the meantime here a couple prints that really pop. Print Title - Sun & Salt - Useless Loop, Western Australia Print Title - Pastel Sands framed in oak with white bleed.
