Sunset in tin can bay - Seascape photography

October 15, 2014

We didn’t plan on staying anywhere and we have decided to try and camp for most of this trip to allow more money to be spent on adventures and cruises and helicopter flights. We arrived at Rainbow waters caravan and camping grounds. Luckily the school holidays were coming to a close and there weren’t too many kids running amuck. We set up camp and as the sun started to set we went to the bay to grab some photos.

Silly me decided to jump straight into the water without any bug spray and I’ve been mauled by midgies. EDIT (5 days later and I’m still itching like an flea infested canine)

Some shots from sunset in Tin Can bay.

For the reddish colour shots I placed a Lee sunset filter 1 on the front of my lens to exaggerate the warm glow from the horizon. It’s a pretty neat filter and gives you a little more interest when things are a little less colourful.
