Ocean of gold

February 15, 2015 2 Comments

A M A Z I N G – What can I say but I’m thankful that I woke up in the early hours of the morning to head to the beach. I started off with sunrise and then raised down south with light winds on the forecasts.
Thankfully the ocean was playing music all morning long. The sound of the waves crashing into the sand and the water dancing to its own beautiful songs. I was mesmerized by Poseidon’s beauty as I stood there watching the waves crash into the sand, hearing the clapping sound of each wave like an encore at a concert. Looking through my lens I hear a big CLAP. “Wow I haven’t heard this in a while”, the water rebounds off the rock wall and I sit waiting for the perfect moment where the backwash mimics a conductors hands at the orchestra, setting the tempo and mood of each individual wave.
It made me wonder, what it would be like to be a musician, but then I realise I am a visual being and my weapon of choice is with me.
Pure beauty on the Gold Coast. ENJOY

Thank you Vida, these moments are rare and flineetg, One reason to try and paint them, even if they seem unbelievable to some. At least now I have proof to show the skeptics and land locked

The feelings these corlos evoke in me are incredible. I would love to transport myself to this very spot and experience this as you have. I can’t ever remember a pink sunset here in Greece, although I have seen some exquisite sunrises and sunsets living on the island. I look forward to experiencing the painting! Thank you for all that you do.

Fast forward 6 hours and my alarm goes off, I stumble and drop my phone on the wall and manage to fall out of bed trying to turn it off. I hit the snooze button whilst I notice my partner being woken. I head back to sleep thinking I won't head down the beach.
