Beautiful Brisbane city Sunrise

August 05, 2015 3 Comments

The weather over the past weekend in Brisbane city was nothing short of incredible, beautiful clear blue skies gave me the perfect chance to capture some new images for my portfolio and online store.

Kangaroo point is a popular location for onlookers to witness sunrise and sunset, with the beautiful skyscrapers gracing the river and some beautifully coloured building reflecting the sun, it’s no wonder it’s fast becoming one of my favorite locations to shoot.

Here I have two images taken roughly 10 minutes apart. As the sunrises to the east a beautiful glow starts to reflect off the buildings allowing for some nice colour in the sky and also interested on the buildings themselves.

The sun gets higher in the sky and the sky starts to change colour, producing some beautiful blue and yellow colours.

Here we have a framed metallic fine art print framed in one of my favorite frames the “beach brown” frame with white mat.

I’m not too sure about any good second hand furritune stores, but if you wanted to purchase a new set and be assured that you’ve got a warranty with them I would try Fantastic Furniture. They have a set of timber bunks that you can take apart into two single beds. I used to work there and I just checked the website to see if it was there and it wasn’t. If you want to ring them up ask if they still have the Eclipse’ bunk bed. It was about $399 i think. Happy searching!

Fast forward 6 hours and my alarm goes off, I stumble and drop my phone on the wall and manage to fall out of bed trying to turn it off. I hit the snooze button whilst I notice my partner being woken. I head back to sleep thinking I won't head down the beach.
